“Honor the LORD along with your wealth, with the first-fruits of all of your crops;” (Proverbs 3:9).
If we goal simply to provide a certain quantity or proportion in a legalistic method, we’ve missed the purpose. In our church, we don’t go a plate or require an providing, but generosity abounds in our congregation.
Don’t get caught on a quantity.

Let Jesus’ phrases take the strain off of the couple struggling to agree on the correct quantity to tithe. The quantity isn’t the purpose, moderately the guts behind it. Giving cash to the church or to help a ministry shouldn’t really feel pressured or uncomfortable.
